Safety Requirements

At Lakeside Little League, we are committed to providing a safe and positive environment for our players, and that starts with our dedicated volunteers. To ensure the highest standards of safety and training, all volunteers must complete specific requirements set forth by Little League International and the State of California.

As a volunteer, you will need to complete the following trainings and background checks (appropriate links listed below):

- Little League Volunteer Application
- JDP Background Check
- LiveScan Fingerprinting
- CDC Heads Up Concussion Training
- Abuse Awareness Training
- Sudden Cardiac Arrest Training
- Little League Diamond Leader Program


These trainings are designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to support our young athletes effectively. Once you have completed the 4 required online trainings*, please upload your completion certificates to the Google Form Links provided.  

*All trainings are required to be completed on an annual basis, please wait until 2025 to complete the trainings for our upcoming season. 
Little League Diamond Leader Training only needs to be completed once, however, it is strongly encouraged to go back and review all of the content and resources available.
